Our church services are designed to follow the injunction in Hebrews 1024-25 "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near".

9am Worship Service We have a Church Service every Sunday at 9am. The Service has a distinct family atmosphere, designed to cover the full age profile, from infants to elderly. The Lord's Supper is held twice each month. Oak Flats parish is committed to having children as fully included in the church time as possible. School age children have a worksheet to go with the sermon. A crèche is provided for pre-school age children in the morning & evening services whilst the sermon is being preached. We encourage older children to remain with their families during services. With the opportunity for 'off the cuff' prayers in almost all services, church members can participate in this and in many other ways during the service. At Morning Tea / Coffee there is time to relax and fellowship with other people. 5pm Service The 5.00pm service is a time of praise, prayer and the ministry of God’s word. A meal is served immediately after the service, and this meal starts around 6.05 pm. This service is a good one for families to attend (since there is a children’s program for part of the service). It’s also suitable for younger and older teenagers, since the musical style is contemporary and the order of service for the most part follows a series of Bible passages. |
